Location of Mitsch Novelty Daffodils

Mitsch Daffodils is a small family business. The catalog consists of mainly our own originations, many from Jackson's Daffodils, Tasmania, Australia, and a few from other hybridizers. Hybridizing is time consuming. It takes approximately 5-7 years from the time the seed is planted until the first bloom. Another 10 - 15 years are required for observation for consistency and increase before it can be introduced.

We are personally involved in all aspects of the business--from hybridizing and doing our own photography to digging and planting; we personally inspect every bulb when orders are filled to ensure quality and good health. All bulbs are guaranteed to be correctly named.

Flowering season -- A display is open to the public each afternoon, during flowering season which is normally about mid March to early April. Cut flowers, potted daffodils and note cards/postcards are available for sale.
